Sharing of Your Personal Data
We may share your Personal Data with trusted third-party service providers when reasonably necessary to operate Wedtrove and provide the features you request.
- With payment providers to charge you and prevent fraud.
- With hosting, storage, email, analytics, and support providers that help us operate the Service.
- With print production, fulfillment, and shipping providers if you order a physical photo product through Wedtrove.
For physical print orders, the information shared may include your name, email address, shipping details, order details, and the photos, designs, or print-ready files required to produce and deliver the ordered product.
Assembled Photobooks and Face Detection
Wedtrove can assemble a first version of a photobook from the photos in your event gallery. This is an optional feature that runs only when you (the event owner) ask for it — by clicking the corresponding button in the Service or in an email we send you — and it produces an editable draft that you review before any print order is placed.
To choose and arrange photos, the feature detects faces in your gallery photos and compares them with one another in order to recognise which people appear in which photos (for example, the couple the event is about) and to avoid cropping through a face. This involves automated processing of biometric-like data derived from images. It is performed on infrastructure operated for Wedtrove by our hosting provider (Cloudflare), the photos and the derived face data are not shared with any third-party AI service, and the derived face data is deleted automatically as soon as the draft has been produced. The feature does not identify people by name, does not build profiles, and is not used for any other purpose.
Where the law requires it, this processing is based on your explicit consent, which you give when you request the assembled photobook and which you can withdraw at any time by not requesting it again or by deleting the resulting photobook. The draft photobook and its preview images are stored in your account like any other photobook and can be deleted by you. Photos that you upload directly into the photobook editor are stored separately from your gallery, are kept while the photobook is being worked on and for up to 90 days after you last edit it, and are then deleted.
Retention of Your Personal Data
We will retain your Personal Data, including photos and videos, only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. We retain and use your data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Security of Your Personal Data
